Elin is a fourth-generation Texas soapmaker of Swedish decent. She has owned and operated her soap business, The Country Soaper, since 2003!

Elin is the author of Creative Soap Making: The Basics and Beyond and Bubble To Bucks: How To Make Money Selling Soap.
Elin also operated Lone Star Soapers, a Texas-based soapmaker's group, from 2010-2022 and served as the President (2006) and Secretary (2005) of the Texas Soapmakers Assocation.
